Winters Chill (Unreal, #2) Read & Download ´ 0 Sometimes the devil you know” Over a year has passed since the fragile Julie Edwards had her world upended by her corrupt stepfather two brutal sex traffickers and enough abuse for ten lifetimes As she continues to acclimate to her new normal she clings to her savior the tortured Ethan Graff Just as Julie is about to throw off her shackles for good a. OK so I didn t give the book 5 stars mainly because of the editing and the redundancy of her going through her motions of crying everyday I let most of the editing mistakes past in the first one because I was so wrapped up in the plot but by the second book the editing should have been taken care of and fixed a lot Besides the editing mistakes the book was OK I was over the fact that Julie kept crying at every turn of the book and the touching of each others faces between her and Ethan and some other characters are so weird and just off I felt sorry for Ethan because I felt like he was never going to be happy though he said he was I couldn t deal with no sleep and getting beat up by her every other night by JulieI felt that Julie was getting worse but I could not take any of her crying That got uite annoying I did like how her nightmares were descriptive but sometimes the author didn t transition well with her nightmares and the stories Ethan had of her One moment I am in Julie s nightmare and the next Ethan is in the office with Leo and he is reminiscing about her at home It just didn t flow well to me She will never be ok and the fact that her and Ethan have a romantic relationship is weird to me which I thought was weird in the ending of the first book If she went through such a horrendous time in the woodscabin then she shouldn t want anyone let alone another man touch her The height of the book was probably the courtroom scenes that had me on edge and then the final blow was about Kim I was so shocked and the ending just made me a little sad because I had a feeling something wasn t right about a particular character s intentions All in all it was a good book but dragged in certain areas Hopefully part 3 is a little but fast paced

Winters Chill (Unreal, #2) Read & Download ´ 0 New terror appears Julie is called upon by Detective Connie Morales to testify at the trial of the men that endlessly raped her and murdered her best friend Kimberly Beyer Prosecutor Leo Barber needs Julie than ever as the defense employs a worthy adversary in attorney Vivian Porter and the vague testimony of Julie’s surviving abductor Pete Bowen shed. I wasn t as enamoured by this book as I was with the first and last books in the trilogy The trauma Juliet went through seems to have been forgotten by the powers that be and no one pushed her to get any counselling The trial was depressing in a way as the people who should have been protecting her were interested in winning Ethan and his friends were the saving glory in the book for me The support they gave Juliet all through her flashbacks was incredible Still full of suspense especially with Kim s return This book filled in some of the gaps that were needed before the final book in the trilogy Despite some typo and spelling errors it was worth the read
